Minority Sound is a band from Czech Republic. The make Industrial Metal and started doing so in 2007. In 2010 the band released their debut album and anno 2013 they return with a brand new release. “The Explorer” is out now.
The band has influences of Pain into their sound, not every song as obvious as the other simply because Minority Sound likes to show different sides of themselves on this release. Feel the catchiness, the songs become danceable but never loses its touch with the metal so at the same time you could be stuck in a moshpit. Ultimate party music you could say. Though, sometimes you could think the tempo could be up a little more and then it would be even more brutal, but perhaps that is not the way the band likes to go to. With these deep vocals it would not be unthinkable that many would have expected it from them though. Besides these growls the band comes with some clear vocals as well, having the melodic part of the sound highlighted by these and the combination of it all makes the music very playful.
“The Explorer” is an album that shows a band that has a quite good idea of what they want to show with their sound. It leaves it open for some more experimentation, but these tracks will any live party come alive.
