The German Nasty Bulletz is ‘celebrating Hardrock and Hairmetal of the glamorous 80´s’ as they tell us themselves. The band just released their album “Right Time To Rock You”.
To celebrate the 80’s is sure fitting description for this band. When doing so, you will never really find something that has not been done before, but when done a decent quality it has it right of existence for the sake of introducing a new generation to this sound. Nasty Bulletz has it quite together. Some well written songs that contain good vocals, lyrics that work as they never go over the top and create a caricature of itself and with some decent guitar riffs in the pocket the band has just the package to capture the listener of the genre easily. When it comes to the production of this release it shows once again that the guys know when to stop. It is never to shiny polished, but the band did not choose for the raw edges either, simply a good balance is found and that suits them well.
“Right Time To Rock You” is a good release of a band that is relatively young in the genre as they are founded in 2008. Yet, they bring an album that listens pleasantly. Only thing that misses is that song that is so catchy that everyone remembers it after hearing it, but I am sure you’ll find one or two of these in a future release.
