Saatanan Marionetit is a band from Finland. The band got their debut album “Satanick Destruction of Death” released at the end of 2011. At the end of 2012 the band comes with the release “Zombie Horror” which is out now.

Saatanan Marionetit is a Melodic Death Metal formation. With this new five track EP they tell a story about zombies and how they take over. ‘Prepare for a dark journey to purgatory’ they warn you and while in the real world a new pope has been chosen, Saatanan Marionetit talks about a new Lucifer for example. The tracks may all have their own story to tell surrounding the theme, the sound of the band is varied also. Whatever is needed to support the story comes around as it seems as in a track like “Jolly Good Satan” you hear a Folk inspired a sound while in “Mas Turbo” the band chooses an approach that is has a little more vehemence. They close it off with the track “Blood Is Redder Than Water” which has a bit more drama added, mainly by the use of the keyboard in such an upfront way.
“Zombie Horror” is a humorous release that pleases the overall metal fan. It brings a smile upon your face so worth giving that a try.
