Leper Divine is a Death Metal formation by Tregor Russo. Formed in 2011 they now have a first demo released: “Contagion”.

A four track demo by this Italian formation. The idea is simple and straightforward. Bring the brutality towards you with some playfulness. Yes, standard in some way, but some surprising riffs here and there are shaking you up, bring your attention just a little sharper. The compositions are all made by Tregor himself, multi-instrumentalist as it seems. Quite often that results in one part lacking in skills with the rest, but right here the balance seem to be quite into it. Drums are as much as a factor compared to guitars and bass. A good balance is there.
According the biography there is a concept album from these guys as well, which includes different elements as well, which could be quite interesting, bringing just that little extra to it. In this demo it is not too much outstanding but yet it gives a solid vision of the band. Death Metal fans will surely enjoy this release, for the diversity in the composing and the surprising riffs here and there as well as the vocals that work out quite well in here.
