The Dutch band Lick is bringing you back to the 80’s. The youngsters have found their influences from there and bring it right back nowadays. Their album “Mount Rock” is now out.
Sure, we can tell you exactly how much ACDC we hear in here, of fill in any band like them from the past but what’s more relevant that Lick is bringing it. Those now old rockers won’t release an album like these guys done any longer and if you know how they ended up you might imagine what that brings for Lick. Really, are they up for that? Well maybe it won’t come right away some years and their audience will grow substantially and it is not unthinking they end up there too. “Mount Rock is showing you this. While listening you can feel the band enjoying themselves, you get the urge to check out the tour dates and see them live. Besides that, the skills are there. Some fine tuning here and there, a little more Lick into it and there you are. Must be said the guys are doing a lot themselves and as it works now they may have something to win when hooking up with the right partners. Let it “Rock Dog”!
