The metal formation from German as others had its highlights and failures and even quick break-up in the middle of carrier way. But despite of everything here the fifth studio album titled “Initium”.
The word “Initium” in latin means “beginning” as opening track which corresponds combination of instrumental part and almost church chorus. In general, the album supposed to be conceptual, deep and divine. You can see the religious motifs in the art which precedes the musical composition. The concept of the album is simple. The album describes the last days of Jesus’ life on the Earth before His resurrection. Heavy riffs, touching solos and eternal life. You even forget what lyrics about and just enjoy the music. But let me point several tracks in particular. The first is “Gethemane”, the most beautiful a few seconds instrumental track which would be the excellent full track with not less powerful lyrics. “Shout it out” reminds of the best part of heavy metal industry and even so popular “Motley Crue”’s hit “Shout at the Devil”. Scream all the worst out! In this hard way I point the track titled “You’re alive” which has too many senses in any way it should be. And the last mentioned track “Judas 1 – Dancing with Devil” with all the typical intro, solos and everythings of melodic and power metal. There is a chance to dance.
Resuming all the words – just enjoy the music.
