The final chapter, the darkness and doom has been there and now there is only misery left. The atmosphere sets you there in a deserted area, nothing stands anymore and you seem to be all alone. Every sound you hear or might hear creeps you out and yet there are such moments to be found in which the beauty of hope is coming alive. What comes to notice is that there are quite some vocals to be found, not always expected, but with some French words there spoken it gives the music some charm that hasn’t been there before. Some more heavy, industrial sound is also to be found, maybe takes a few seconds for your mind to switch towards that style and atmosphere but eventually you’ll meet in the middle.
This final part of the trilogy stands a bit apart of the first two, it is an album that you could also listen to while you are not familiar with the first two pieces as it stands on its own as well. It may not summarize a typical sound of the band, which shows that Blut Aus Nord is always on the move. A little different but yet as pleasant as all the others were.
