Seeka is a Dutch formation, currently releasing their debut album. This trio created a blend of Rock, Pop Indie and many more styles.
Funky sounds, the tendency to start dancing and the easiness of moving along right from the start, Seeka foresees in giving you music that you can feel comfortable with from the beginning. Don’t get stuck in your label madness, just enjoy it. Feel Living Colour within this sound, sometimes a bit more mellow, sometimes they take it a little wilder, but what comes to notice is that they always keep it interesting. Not one song sounds alike and therefore you keep on listening to this release.
The only thing that you may wonder about is the dusty production, it feels a bit like this record has been made years ago and is released anno 2012. A little more attention onto that would have given the album some more extra shine. Yet, the mix of different styles within this release is such a plus that you will enjoy this album, it is perfect for these hot summer evenings, dancing to it on a festival in the park, a good glass of wine with it and the ultimate Seeka experience is created.
