Life’s Electric is a Dutch Pop Rock formation. They are currently releasing their debut album called: “Trust Me I’m A Doctor”.
A convenient and recognizable sound meets you right when you start listening to this release. Calm steady and catchy from the beginning, that promises good for the rest. The band have taken a good part for their melodies, subtle and yet a great fill to the greater outcome. The vocals in this band are giving an international touch. The band gives as reference the names Paramore, Kings of Leon and Foo Fighters. This band brings it all a bit sweeter and mellow but you can find these names back for sure in their sound. A bit too clean production is on it though. Maybe a little more raw edges would have suited the guys as well giving them some extra power, but the outcome right now is not that bad either. Songs like “Thirteen” or “Don’t Stop Me” show how vocal varieties can bring the songs to higher levels even though the instrumental parts are quite modest there still. Life’s Electric did a good job with this release, we will hear more of that for sure. This album is how you want all debut albums made to be.
