The US formation “Garbage” with female charismatic band leader Shirley Manson rocks the stage since 1994. The fifth album titled “Not your kind of people”. Let see what the kind is “not yours”.

The opening track “Automatic systemic habit” is a blast. Seriously, the beats shake every cell of your body. “Blood for poppies” is typical 90’s MTV’s track. Very pop and very energetic. Some tracks are really cosmic and touching, so you can see the eternity out of your window. For this list we can take “Big bright world”, “Felt” plus the sweetest song (literally and not) “Sugar”.
The lyrics are all about lie and laugher, full of the philosophy of teens. Especially you can hear it in “I hate love”. Just listen. “And love makes you crazy/ with nothing but lies/love promises nothing/ and then your love dies”. What a pity! But back to the powerful tracks. For instance, “Control” has a heavy bass line, “Battle in me” sounds like a game battle (listen to refrain “it’s a battle in me/it’s a battle in you”, like conversation with guns holding tight in arms) and “Man on wire” is as electric as the wires would be.

Assuming all the words it’s obviously typical album. But there is still hope for those whom need to shake their body. Maybe you are that kind of people.
