Disguise is an Italian band that formed in 1998. The band makes Melodic Black Metal and come with their third full length release “Second Coming”.
Disguise is band that brings their Black Metal in combination of different things. A little Death, some keys that you may expect in an Industrial Metal formation and more of this small little oddities that make you wonder. According to the info the band was looking for a wider scenario and that is surely what you can find back in here. Perhaps it is still a little unorganized here and there, sometimes an element gets a little too dominant and therefore the sound the band is trying to set throughout the whole album may appear a bit chaotic, but while listening you start to appreciate the experimenting.
Besides that the band knows how to build the songs and sets down a good structure for it, that makes the individual songs good to follow and in some way a bit catchy.
Disguise has made an album of which they show themselves in an experimental mood. Once they will be able to oversee it all a bit more and connect the different sides they have shown in this album a little closer, their next release will grow even stronger.
