Saatanan Marionetit is a band from Finland. The band got their debut album “Satanick Destruction of Death” released at the end of 2011.

Although you may expect different after reading the band’s name, the songs the band have published are mainly in English. What you can expect from them musically, is a quite wild mix of guitars bringing you some sort of direction, but destination is quite often unknown. Expect the unexpected in some way, a siren comes in, some other elements that lighten up the vehemence that is behind it all. When it slows down, you have a few moments to recover from the different variations the band brings, subtle keys are leaving you with some melodic additions and then the intensity goes back up again, having some steady drums as a backbone of it all. The vocals are varied, from clean to scream, bringing the Satan stories to you in variable ways.
The thirteen tracks on this release may not all be that long, but some of the shorter tracks are just putting a smile on your face. All together this release is an entertaining one. Good to put on the play for those cheeky moments!
