Dr. Arthur Krause is a Swedish formation making Gothic/Wave. The band has been around since 2001 and came with their third full length release in 2011.
Be prepared for the dark, depressive gothic ideology of Dr. Arthur Krause. It is basically bringing you deep, dark, doom. The 3 d’s. It is mainly the emotional part that has to get you, the sadness, as the music is quite minimalistic. Hold it to the background, forcing you to listen to the story told and let the misery come alive. One song that does not really come clear is “Mariah” which comes with a lot of repeating words, maybe a bit too whining and too easily written, but that stands right across other songs which are simply jewels and are totally hitting you. “Overdose” is a calm song which let the shivers go down your spine and simple make more impression, while the actual Mariah is mentioned once again. “Solutions” may come with a rollercoaster feeling, it has its great ones and the lesser ones but all together the release is still giving you a good time. Pretty much every music player has a button to skip those you don’t like and there are plenty of songs that do work out well.
