Peter Pan Speedrock is a Dutch band founded in 1997. The band released several albums for the sixteen years of existence and this album is nothing but “the best of” one.

“Fiftysomesuperhits” contains 58 tracks or super hits how it was been named. Yes, too much. That’s why there are two CDs of the best and even better songs. Every track is speedy, powerful and, to be honest, not much different from another. I’m not sure what word could describe this music except the word “noise”. Just kidding. The noise becomes music. Catching music. This is mix of punk, hard and heavy, rock’n’roll , rockabilly and “Mötorhead” especially. But it all doesn’t matter if music plays fast and loud.
Besides all the familiar melodies and lyrics, there are two interesting things. “Megadetitas” track singing in Spanish and “De Schoppen-Aas” is “Ace of Spades” (“Mötorhead”) cover in Dutch. And the most killer track for my own is “Crank up the everything”.

It’s not hard to imagine what a mess is their live-shows. Always drunk, always loud and what one of the tracks says always right. And if you think 58 tracks are all the band has you’re wrong. Never super hits enough.
