December Flower is a formation from Germany making Melodic Death Metal. The band formed in 2007 and a year later a demo got created. Anno 2011 “When All Life Ends…” comes out which is their debut full length release.

In vain of acts like Insomnium, Before The Dawn, myGrain and Omnium Gatherum the guys have found a way to mix the melodic with a little doom-darkness. The compositions the band has made seem to work out well, made to keep you listening throughout the whole album and all in line with each other. A little remark to make on that is that there is not really one song that jumps out more, but in this case there is not really much wrong with that. “Instrumental skills are quite balanced with each other and are interesting enough to observe, guitars often drawing most attention, but never count out the drums that come in quite enthusiastic. Vocals may have been a bit more dominant but are brought passionate.
“When All Life Ends…” is an excellent debut album for the guys. Showing the potential and making hungry for more. No surprise they will hit the stages with the above mentioned bands someday.
