The Arch are a Belgian formation making Electronic/New Wave music. Their album “Engine In Void” is out now.
The Arch is a band with quite some experience on their name. More than 20 years of existence are there and these come all together on “Engine The Void”. Even though the band has been silence for a while, the last release dates back to 1997 they are now ready to get things going again.
The album is quite diverse. It starts off with a very atmospheric track called “Individuals” of which the band has also shot a music video. But only a little later you find yourself dancing to the more danceable songs “Only She” and “Seminary” which brings you to the point that this must be a band that brings a great live sensation. The guys surprise you often with a little twist here and there right when you don’t expect it. Some songs are a bit more complex and give you some more intensity. Simply said, The Arch likes to give you different sides from them and perhaps this album will find is way to the fans. A little minus on this album is that there is not really one song that sticks out more than the rest, but furthermore it is a pleasant release.
