Zombified is a Death Metal formation from UK. The band started in 2009 and is now up for their second EP release. “Backroom Eugenics” is out now.

Originally the band was Formed as a solo project by Jamie McCleneghan, later joined by Gary on drums and went on from there to form a full band. A quite thick sound comes from them, Old School Death metal and influenced by bands like Cannibal Corpse. That comes with vehemence and it suits them quite well. The music they make comes with charisma, you simple believe in what they try to say by all they bring. If it is the tempo changes they have in it, the deep vocals that are quite impressive or the typical Old School feeling is to debate, the mix of it all would be very likely. Sure the band does not bring too much new under the sun, but after all that is why it is Old School Death Metal.
It is a pity this release only has six tracks and therefore ends way too fast, cause you can surely enjoy another portion of Zombified. Luckily the band states that a full length release will follow somewhen in 2012, bring it on.
