Mind Set A Threat are from Scotland and make Metal core. They got their line up complete only a year ago and now release a self-titled EP, a little teaser of the full length release the band is working on as well.

The band has strong vocals in their sound and next to that it generates tensions with riffs that keep on building onto each other. A great way to get some excitement in the music. The Scottish guys clearly tried to make it sound a little unique which is highly appreciated. If the band releases an album it is to hope they work this out a little more. Also they have created a good balanced sound, well produced and it feels like the band has been playing together way longer than just a year. As only little remark to make it is that the EP only has three songs, while you would like to spend some more time with the guys. Seems also the band will bring a great live sensation as they claim to get their current local fame of. Mind Set A Thread, one to put on the list to keep an eye on. If they keep growing a bit, I am quite sure their debut will surprise many!
