Ringworm is a hardcore punk band formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1991. The name “Ringworm” was derived from a Vincent Price movie. The band has toured extensively in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe and has released their last three albums on Victory Records.
This is their seventh release called “Scars”, also released on Victory Records. The brand new Ringworm release comes with ten tracks that blast right at you. Fast and thriving riffs along with shouted vocals make the hardcore punk music sound like metal. The cover is quite interesting with ornaments and words written in a halo like circle behind the black haired girl who covers her face with her hands. It is held quite dark and vintage. Except for the blood running down her chest, the cover girl does not have any visible scars. The new Ringworm album is a great album for all metal and hardcore punk and rock fans. So make sure to check it out. Also Ringworm will be touring in the US now. Let’s see when they will head out to Europe to rock the clubs and make sure to check them out. Ringworm’s new album “Scars” is out now. Check it out!
