Bloodthirst is a Polish Thrash Metal formation. The band was created in 1999 and after a line of small releases two full lengths followed. Anno 2011 the band comes back with a new EP called: “Zadza Krwi”
The EP contains for track that are quite consistent. A decent set of riffs, strong vocals that quite remain in its own space without too much variation and quite some tempo at most times. A bit of a pity that the band lacks to play around to make it a bit more surprising but here and there the guys pull some nice parts up. If they could maintain with these and leave all the clichés, putting it all together into songs that are more on their own face than it would be quite a thing.
“Zadza Krwi” now is a release that may give a short impression of what the guys can, but maybe they did not take the most out of it. With some work on the song writing and a different production this could actually turn out to be something bigger, but for now this release does not stick out above your own local Thrash heroes.
