Releasedate: 2011

Grolschbusters comes from The Netherlands. They are existing for over 20 years and last year they shared stage with Bad Religion in Amsterdam. Anno 2011 the band releases a new album, “Make My Day” is out now.
Typical punk, cozy and feel good. Grolschbusters has an accordion and this adds some folk atmosphere in the music which quite gets it started right away. The first couple of songs are just to get into it, because the first song that really stands out on “Make My Day” is the fourth: “Religious Insanity”. The song works musically and whatever you feel about the lyrical side of it may not be that relevant after all. The band shows some diversity on this release, the songs are all a bit different from each other and this suits quite well, This keeps it interesting and the fifteen songs the album counts are placed in a smart order. One song is harder and more punk, while the next song may be more folk influenced with the accordion upfront.
Overall it is a nice release, the band shows that it is good to party with them as you will be guaranteed with a great atmosphere. Great one for the summer!
