Enik is a German musician – singer and composer – and multi-talent. Enik is known for his work with Funkstörung, Burnt Friedman and “Die Fantastischen Vier”. His first solo LP “The Seasons In Between” in 2006 received best critics in magazines like “The Rolling Stone” and was album of the month in the “Vice” magazine. He also contributed to several releases.
Now his new album is released called “I Sold My Moon Boots To A Girl In Greece”. A long title but yet very easy to memorize because it is so odd, not a typical album title. Fourteen tracks are on this album. The music is very catchy. Different from what you usually heart, this album will definitely stick in your head. Serious lyrics combined with music and melodies that should not be taken too serious. The odds attract. It is hard to put Enik into a single genre. Somehow it feels like you can find a little bit of everything on “I Sold My Moon Boots To A Girl From Greece”. A brilliant album you should definitely check out. Nothing is as it seems with Enik. Have “I Sold My Moon Boots To A Girl From Greece” turn your world upside down and rock.
