A Silent Express is a Dutch band. Their sound is inspired by bands like Duran Duran and Simple Plan. Founded in 2008 they have now released their debut album called “Now!”. Twelve tracks they present us with this release.

Somewhere between synth pop and pop rock A Silent Express touch your heart. The album is very catchy. Pop rock combined with electro tracks in such a melodic way cause the songs to get stuck in your head. The lyrics are very emotional and I am sure many people can relate to them. A Silent Express released a brilliantly catchy and amazing album with “Now!”. The booklet includes the lyrics to all songs – black print on orange with the song titles and credits in white, looks really amazing – as well as some band pictures. All pictures are taken in and around a train – the Silent Express. You can tell that the band put a lot of thoughts and emotion into music and album layout. A Silent Express will go their way and be successful with it, at least according to this album. The band has a few shows coming up, make sure to check them out.
