Sin Trade is band from Pori, Finland. The band makes Melodic Death Metal and their release “One Life For One Dead” is out now.
The band say themselves that what they do is not the most original around, which sets you back when it comes to expectation. At least they are not pretending, because what you hear is Melodic Death Metal that has been done quite some time before, but made with the perception of getting something more of what they liked. This results in five songs with strong riffs that quite drive the songs. The way the vocals are placed in the music may be a bit questionable, they could have been brought more forward to make a larger impact. As highlight on this EP the song “Break The Pattern is to mention. It is the fastest and leaves the biggest impression, one song that you would live to see live.
Fans of bands like In Flames may be bothered to check this band. However the album is not that original which they embrace themselves, it is not a too obvious clone of another band which makes that their own attitude is in it as well. A nice debut for the Finns.
