Nitroforce 9 – Vanity Dreams

Nitroforce 9 is a Rock and Roll quartet from Finland. The band have been formed in 2008 and they recently released their fourth EP called “Vanity Dreams”.

Rock and Roll vocals, catchy and cozy songs and a confidential feeling that you heard it before. Obviously you can hear influences from the past in their music and that is exactly what Nitroforce 9 is about. Keeping this Rock and Roll alive! The band actually gave a theme to the EP: “Chasing and living the American dream while in a blink of an eye it can all be taken away”. The songs certainly give that feeling, and with strong vocals of Eero Savela the music gets its power highlighted. The band does not bring the most original riffing, but yet it flows quite well and fits good with the sound so this will be forgotten when you get into the music. The songs do radiate that this is band you preferably like to hear live as you can perfectly imagine that the band makes a venue into a party. Take the song “Motorway Maniac” which is probably the most catchy one of this release, it brings you right in the mood to get a drink and enjoy.
When a band gets you into a good mood with their music, there is something going on and that is the effect that Nitroforce 9 has. Keep that Rock and Roll attitude and who knows when we run into these guys on the road.
