Uriah Heep hardly needs an introduction. The band has been around since 1969 and only took one long break of 10 years in releasing new material. “Into The Wild” is the 23rd studio album of the band.
The line-up have varied through the years, but in over 50 years existence there have not been that many as you might have expected. And as well as you are used to of this band the album is filled with glorious up tempo rock songs. The sound of the band has not substantially changed the last years and on “Into The Wild” they show again to be comfortable with where they are. The band stays a bit safe with it, maybe not the most challenging album in their history but the guys know how to produce an album, so it is still one that brings enough pleasure. The closing track of the album “Kiss of Freedom” is the one who sticks most after listening the album and perhaps it is also the one that would attract some new listeners although it seems more an album for those who are familiar with what the band has done before. The band just does not want to stop as it seems and when there are still albums like “Into The Wild” coming they have all right of existence.
