Debauchery – Germany’s Next Death Metal

Releasedate: 25-03-2011; Label: AFM Records
By: Sabine van Gameren

Debauchery is a German Death Metal band from Stuttgart. Debauchery is currently signed to German label AFM Records and have toured extensively through Europe. The band was formed in 2000 as Maggotcunt, but changed their name in 2002 to Debauchery. Debauchery consisted of Thomas Gurrath (vocals, guitars and bass) and Dani (drums) until Dani was forced to leave the band in 2006 after an onstage fight with Thomas. Since then, Thomas is the only official member of Debauchery, singing, playing guitar and bass in the studio, and producing all albums. Thomas hires studio musicians to play drums and guitar leads. As of 2008, the Debauchery live members, called the Kill Team, were ever changing.

This is their eight release called “Germany’s Next Death Metal”. Twelve tracks carried together on this new album are coming right at you when pressing play. With great guitar riffs and gloomy growled vocals Debauchery rock your bones. The vocals add some evilness to the rock music and complete the package. Unless most other death metal music, Debauchery and their album “Germany’s Next Death Metal” is not hectic at all. Twelve songs that definitely get you going along and even head bang along. A great album not only for metal heads, so go get “Germany’s Next Death Metal” now.
