Friska Viljor is a Swedish pop formation by Joakim Sveningsson and Daniel Johansson. Originally started with two broken hearts about five years ago, now up for their third full length release “The Beginning Of The Beginning Of The End”.
It is quite a title, but it sort of tells you what the band is up to right now. A new beginning. It is not all about love misery anymore. It surely seem to come with some renewed happiness and that brings up the atmosphere to the time of the year, when the sun is shining and the spring is growing in the garden. Things that haven’t changed are the fact that the band likes to put some extraordinary instruments into their music to make it sound a little strange and different. Typical for them and good to hear that this element is still there. It is a gorgeous album that may be a bit more positive than what they brought before and it seems made to make you dance. May the road to ‘The End’ be a long, very long one because albums like these can come in dozens! We hope to see this duo at various festivals this summer to cheer everyone up and set a good mood.
