Hollywood-based alternative-rock band “The Mænsion” released their debut album “Rævolution” this November.
The first single of “Rævolution” titled “Say it” was off on March and has approximately 90K views on YouTube for eight months. Next track “Imagine tomorrow” filmed and uploaded on the site brought 2K views for three weeks. The band has over 20K followers on Facebook and almost 13K followers on Instagram. Does it mean that album is brilliant or something like that? Not really.
Ten tracks as fake anthems with some itchy slogans like for staying on the ground on feet not on knees, having some balls, facing the problem and fighting for it, etc. Moreover the starter “Army Of The People” tried to make social communications with followers, listeners or who-so-ever. “Say it!” is not that bad in the musical interpretation of fighting and showing some rebellious behavior. “Stand Your Ground” is the third ambitious track with vibes of ambient, alternative core and industrial roots. Despite of all artificial parts one track is just great. So-called-romantic track “Master-slave” has true and deep feelings and emotions of being fall in love as a dominate peer. Classic romance under pressure and scream ”How much I love you”. Almost flawless combination of whiplash and pleasure.
After all, there are great ambitions and weak realization. Pity, nothing revolutionary at all.
