Hidden Souls is a band from Argentina making Electo pop. The band just released their album. It is called “The Incorruptible Dream” and it is available now.
Argentina is not a country that often serves with bands of this genre, so it is interesting to have a look at what these guys come up with. Smartly listening to the German incrowd the guys have found their way. Some danceable tunes filled with synths are passing by. Dreamy atmospheres are there but the guys are not lacking any weight to put in, there is something to say just as well. And that is actually where this band scores quite well. Their English is coming across much clearer and straightforward than many of the usual bands that pass along, seems like they take an international approach and spend a lot of effort in this aspect.
“The World Is Falling” has a sense of drama in it, it starts the album with a statement, the band lures with energetic passages to get you into it. Going through the tracklist you find plenty of songs that are in line with that, but the guys are strong in bringing some variation into it. It are the details that make an album come out as a winner and the band is three points ahead.
Closing it off with “Political Brainwash Machine” the guys prove that they are critical also, leaving the way open for many more to be released. A good one is in your hands with “The Incorruptible Dream”. Great idea for your Christmas wishlist?!
