The Moorings are an ultra-energetic quintet famous for delivering an efficient mix between Celtic folk and alternative rock. Since 2011, the band has been faithful to the traditional themes of the Anglo-Saxon repertoire. It has been chosen many times to share the bill with the most respected bands of the genre such as The Dubliners, The Pogues or The Dropkick Murphys.
Now these guys have a brand new album out. “Unbowing” is the name of this masterpiece. Twelve tracks will get you going along. You can hear the strong Celtic folk influence on the music. It sounds a little bit Irish, too. The melodies are catchy and there is no chance you will not start tapping or nodding along to the music. Twelve songs are celebrating and having a party in your speakers and in your mind. Each song is telling a beautiful story. Sometimes even a funny one.
The Moorings want you to feel good with “Unbowing”. So press play and turn up the volume. Grab some friends and some beer. Enjoy every second of this album, move and sing along to the music. You will not regret it.
