Sir Reg is a band that took a long time in the making. For almost a decade, under the name The Barcrawlers, the core of the band gigged its ass off all over Scandinavia playing Irish pub songs at every venue imaginable. It all started in 2002 when Brendan and Karin played covers and Irish traditional at a few local bars. Brendan had just recently moved to Sweden from Ireland and was in dire need to continue doing what he loved doing back in Dublin – singing and playing. Now they have a brand new album out.

The music is fast and thriving. The Irish folk influence is strong. The rhythms will easily get you going along. The music is keeping a steady fast beat. No time to catch a breath or slow down. The music on “Modern Day Grace” is animating, energetic and will get you going along. Each song is having brilliant lyrics and great arrangements. The album lasts for about forty minutes and includes eleven songs for you to jump around to.

Although Sir Reg is from Scandinavia, these guys sure know how to play Irish Folk music. Proven on “Modern Day Disgrace”, this album is brilliant. So put on your Irish clothes and hit the dance floor. This album deserves only the best.
