Eleven years(!) after the band’s last effort, “Downfall Of The Working Man”, the hooligans from Lighttown Eindhoven, the almighty Discipline, are back! Fronted by Merijn Verhees (ex-Banner Of Thugs, The Young Ones, Sparrow Falls), the red and white army has returned to bring you “STAKE YOUR CLAIM”. Not a simple single to ‘warm things up’, no(!), a full, brand new, twelve track assault, ready to claim back their title as the undisputed kings of the European street rock scene!
Their brand new release goes by the name of “Stake Your Claim” and pushes you towards the edge. Tough rock and roll comes blasting at you after pressing play on this album. The band is kicking asses with their loud music and straight forward lyrics. They are pushing forward, not leaving you even a second to catch a breath. Pulling you along from the first second until the very last. The lyrics are straight out, sung with an edgy loud voice. With no mercy and no quiet moment. During some songs, the singer’s voice reminds of Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead).
“Stake Your Claim” lasts for thirty-five minutes and is filled with loud and edgy rock music. Not to say punk rock music. Thriving and energetic music is pulling you along on this long awaited Discipline release.
