The Boyscout did a couple of singles before and now release a collection of road trip worthy tracks. “My route 66” is out now.
A personal road trip album it is, some remarkable choices are coming down to the tracklist, first it is his own “Turn The Page” which reminded us slightly to the latest Poisonblack album. An interesting track! Then straight after that we are listening to a cover of “Because The Night”, a song of which we heard many versions already and although this one is enjoyable to listen to, did not add a whole new perspective on the song. It ends with the songs “Hallelujah”.
As a bonus there is the album of Blood Red Rose -“A Rock Fantasy added to the package. Songs like “Sexy Taxi Driver” or titletrack “Blood Red Rose” featuring Amanda Sommerville are songs that draw your attention. When coming to a track like “When The Children Cry” you can remember the background of this release more clearly than ever.
Altogether this package including the favorite tracks for a road trip by The Boyscout are certainly forming a diverse collection. Hit the roads, taker it along and enjoy the feel good music on your way!
