The Bones is a Swedish punk rock band that has been founded in 1996. This is their seventh full length studio album and it is called “Flash the Leather”.
The album is coming with seventeen tracks with a total duration of about forty-five minutes. The bonus edition has some additional tracks. Most songs are in English. One song is in German. “Die Wilden Jahre” is a surprise track for the German fans, so the lyrics are sung in German. The music is thriving and loud. The smoky voice along with the steady rhythm is causing the adrenaline level to rise. The catchy melodies and fun lyrics will definitely get you going along. But The Bones also added quite some movie samples and spoken parts in between some songs. But other than that do the Swedes keep up the pace.
“Flash The Leather” is fun album that will probably please the crowd when The Bones present it live. The choruses are great to sing and shout along to. The rhythms will get the audience to move along to, maybe even start a circle pit. Powerful and loud, this brand new The Bones album is a must have for all punk rock lovers out there.
