Bedemon is a Doom Metal act that founded in 1973. They are mainly known as ‘early Pentagram’ and thus have been on the foundation of Doom Metal.
Out of print for over 10 years it was announced. “Child of Darkness” is quite an historic release and therefor it was time to get this release being distributed again for those who wanted to have it for a long time.
The release of “Child of Darkness” is a release as taken from the original. That means you may not expect an outstanding sound quality but let you relive the time were tapes were copied and copied and copied again. Nostalgia. And that is where the main value of this release is to be found. Bedemon was early Pentagram so it is what grew to something so influential.
It is not the first time this release has been brought out again. In 2005 it has been done as well but the fact that it went out of print so fast shows there are still a lot of people interested in listening to this album.
You have the option to retrieve this release on CD or LP, whatever you like best. All Doom fans are advised to get their hands on it fast, before it is again: out of print.
