Releasedate:
Cinis is a Polish Death Metal formation that formed in 2003. In 2008 the guys have released a full length Debut and this year they have returned with the release of a new album called “Subterranean Antiquity”.
The band has much to bring out and looking at the titles we can expect quite some words on it. “The Edifice Crashes” is the one to open the album and set you up with a sound that brings a powerful face forward. A band that may not bring something new but chooses the quality to stand out with and it seems to work quite well for these guys. “Vile Angels” and “Future Imperfect” are both example of powerful songs that with their strength in riffs and composition reminds you of acts like Morbid Angel for example.
It closes off with the song “Nothing” which seems an interesting way of ending it. The album is energetic and brings up a lot of expectations for the band’s live shows. “Subterranean Antiquity” is a release that fans of Morbid Angel and Venom will appreciate. The band took their influences from there and this is easy to hear back in this release. Would they give it a slight more twist of their own it would be an album that we can’t resist for quite a while.
