Tellurion – Tellurion

Tellurion – Tellurion

Releasedate:
By: Sabine van Gameren

The act Tellurion started as a coverband but around 2010 the guys decided it was time for them to create their own material. They started and in 2014 the guys presented a debut full length album to the world carrying their own name: “Tellurion”.

The band has a fresh and modern sound, taking the good things from their cover band period with them as an influence and give their own flavor to it. The guitar riffs are flowing around you easily, making the base of the music become a piece that you need to give some dedicated attention. There is plenty to find in the sound so the album is one you need to listen to a couple of times to get the most of it. The melodic parts are giving the whole a commercial twist, which speaks for them.
In the track list there is plenty of variation to find, songs being diverse in many ways which makes that the album remains interesting. Songs like “The Architect” and “Mountains Crumble” or forming the highlight of the release.
Their debut album shows them off well. A diversity that’s in there, creates an album that gives a good impression of where they come from.
