Sonik Foundry is an industrial/EBM act from USA who released its debut album “Mechanized” in 2009. Anno 2013 a new album is seeing light, it’s called: “Twisted Remixes”.

As the title may tell you already this release is a remix album. It contains various remixes of the tracks “Into The Storm” and “Mind Twister”. First the two original tracks starting with the rather calm “Into The Storm” that sets the options for remixes to come quite open. “Mind Twister” is a track that you could feel similarities with Black Light Discipline for mostly its catchiness. Looking at the remixes of the track you find the Terrorkode Blinded remix standing out most as it is giving you a quite different look at the song. When it comes to “Into The Storm” the remixes are more diverse. The Ruined Conflict Shattered remix is starting a bit melodramatic while the Tragic Pulse remix is bringing a bit more body in the beginning. The same track brought in such different ways. Then there is also a remix for the track “Quiet Before The Storm” which has some remarkable vocals at its end, a surprising element that you would not expect.

“Twisted Remixes” is a release that shows you the diversity in the songs of Sonik Foundry. A great collectorspiece.
