Releasedate: 2013
By: Sabine van Gameren
Rockchick Danielle Bloom, from USA, had always a passion for Rock music. Anno 2013 she brings it all out with the release of her debut album called: “Meet Me In The Middle”.
“Meet Me In The Middle” is a collection of songs that are taken out of life. Grip on it, a woman in control showing some balls. Danielle seem to want to radiate she is a tough chick and certainly succeed with this release. The words are a large part of the Danielle Bloom experience, but the vehemence they brought with is equally important to that. She can give a whole lot of power, but easily switch to a more softer approach in which she comes out best actually. Her songs are having a good backing, mostly guitar driven. Performed well but sometimes a little expectable. No true breakouts come and maybe therefore sound a little safe. Too bad because when taking some more risk it could count as a leverage for the whole release. Perhaps on a next release.
This debut album of Danielle Bloom shows a rock artist that knows what she wants and brings it with attitude. The album works well and with a little refinements here and there the next album will be a killer one. Danielle got the Rock in here, so no doubt about that!
