Adrenaline 101 is a Rock formation from Zürich, Switzerland. They got together in 2005 for the formation of this band and came with a debut full length “Twelve Step Program” in 2011. This year the band comes with a new full length album called “Demons In The Closet”.
The band plays Rock with the embracement of the past. 80’s style, and constantly aware of bringing a quite straight package. You know what to expect from the beginning. Sounds fair, but does not really leave a whole lot of space for experimenting. That’s a pity because that results that this release is perhaps not really sticking out of the masses. It’s done in a safe way, stay within the lines and the band have not really taken a risk with it. A little more spice and stepping out of the expected would have set the band on a whole different track right away. The band seem to have loads to tell but on the album it may not really come alive, it gives the impression that this is a band that is more a band you need to see live and then the songs come alive a bit more.
“Demons In The Closet” is not a bad release, just not really exciting if you compare it to the many other releases in this genre.
