Releasedate: 2013

Devastracktor is a Finnish Thrash Metal formation that started in 2009. At the end of 2011 the band came with their debut full length release “Warhorsepowers And A Megaton Of Balls”. Anno 2013 the band returns with a brand new release called “Beer Force One”
With a disc looking like the beermats of a certain Dutch brewer, Devastracktor gives style to their new EP’s theme. The Thrash formation has clearly hold on to their strongest points of their earlier release. Some good riffs, the drums are now more upfront in their sound giving it some extra body. Where the band has won some points is on the production. Now a bit more modern, yet still giving justice to the Thrash sound. Sets the band with a release that comes out even better. While the title track stands out as a sort of theme song which people so easily pick up and will bring a whole lot of audience participation in live situations, a track like “For Whose Advantage” show that the band can bring a bit different side also. It is a track that may not be the one that makes you fall in love with the band right away, but has some good moments in there. The guitars make it all worth to listen to.
“Beer Force One” is a release that shows the progress of these Finns very well. A splendid release for the Thrashers.
