Lemuria is an American indie punk rock band from Buffalo, New York, who were formed in 2004. The trio has now released their third album called “The Distance Is So Big”. The new release comes with thirteen songs.
The bright album cover reminds more of a picture in an art gallery than a regular album cover. The first track on the album is an intro reminding of chanting. As it gets louder it causes some adrenaline to rush because it is a little intimidating. But it shuts off instantly and is replaced by Lemuria beginning with their songs. The music is great to sway along to and to have a good time to. It seems to fade in with the background when listening to it. The soft female voice gets your mind to clear off thoughts. On some songs the female singer is accompanied by a male singer. The songs are catchy and make you move along without even noticing it.
“The Distance Is So Big” is a wonderful album that is calm and full of positive vibes which will be spread when pressing play. So go get your good mood and spread positive vibes when playing the music loud with Lemuria’s new album “The Distance Is So Big”.
