Punchline – Superfly

Releasedate: 28-09-2012; Label: Pure Rock Records
By: Milla Smile

“Superfly” is very first album released by the german three-piece rock formation that includes mix of ex-members of “Warrant”, “U.D.O.” and “Perzonal War”.

The blasting intro imitates the process of boarding on the aircraft. The deep voice of stewardess and serious captain’s voice announce forthcoming trip. Welcome on board, fasten your belts and prepare for the superfly. The track provides unavoidable need to flight in any direction. “Step into my word, I hope you like it”. But don’t look at the cover, in that way flight would be a bit vulgar. Go further. The funny track “Get lost” turning in the 90’s punk track “Killing me”. A few words about serious problems around Mondays. Am I the only one who doesn’t hate Mondays? So there track “Mad Monday” in the way it sounds. Crawling riffs of the “Can’t rely on it” reminds of 90’s or even 00’s era punk as “Never give up”. So we must back to the subject of flying in some direction called “away”. I even can mention this track as sweet and calm. The soft and technically almost flawless last track “Would” pictured the aircraft disappeared through the clouds in the sky.

Hopefully, you liked the flight because I doubt it.
