Ghosts In The Static is an Industrial Metal formation based in UK. The formation took place in 2009 and two years later the band released their debut album. Anno 2012 they are ready for a next full length release and it is called: “Fallout”.
On the base of their sound, there is a strong and heavy electronic part. It embraces the rhythms that unfortunately could disappear in some tracks a bit too far when the vocals come in. A matter of balance and taste of course, but the good thing is that they don’t choose one direction in that but vary this throughout the release. Brings a bit of variation, which could be adjusted to the whole some more. There are quite some tracks that sound alike while songs like “Fallout” and “Fallen Gods” show that they having more than the same trick over and over again. The album on shuffle would be a good option for avoiding a lost of interest. The album really has two faces, some great tracks are there, but some just does not stick in mind as being an unique song. Shows that there is some space to grow for them. A critical eye to their own tracks and within time the band is ready for all major festivals of Europe as the individual tracks are well composed and catchy.
