Fozzy is an American Heavy Metal formation. The band has released some material since 2002 and now their new album “Sin And Bones” comes out.
At first sight Fozzy seem to be a band like many. The logo, the album cover and such are not the most original. When it comes to that you get quite what you expect, American Heavy Metal. But when Fozzy adds their taste you step away of this thought a bit. There is an extended instrumental part that has a major part in their sound. It is melodic, modern and not that expectable at all times. A Heavy Metal formation that goes with their time you could say. This results in a couple of riffs that are innovative, but after a couple of songs you start to realize more and more that you have to let that vision of expectations go and surrender to Fozzy and let it all happen. From being very intense, to a calm and more romantic song (yes really), the band brings loads of variety in this release but never make you forget what band you are listening because everywhere there is then face of Fozzy allover. That shows the quality of the band. It makes you wonder what this band has brought before, make me want to check out more. “Sin And Bones” is an album that opens your eyes to them, one to recommend!
