Iron Fire – Voyage of the Damned

Releasedate: 27-01-2012; Label: Napalm Records
By: Milla Smile

Iron Fire is Danish power and speed metal band founded in 1995. “Voyage of the Damned” is their fifth album.

So there is offer to take a boat and start a mysterious and intriguing voyage to nowhere. Your guide has a “clean” tenor that’s sometimes growling to make more expression. The tempo of journey is speedy as hell, so where are you going straight forward? Be brave all the hour of pathetic journey because there are legends about brave hearts singing by unknown something right into ears and accompanying nothing but symphonic orchestra to scare you to death.

Yes, that’s scenario for all the melodic metal albums’ action. Despite the fact being no huge fan of power metal or Iron Fire either it was an unexpected pleasure listen to the entire album. From the dark suspicious intro to the final battle track. In between there are tracks which need to be necessary heard. First of all that’s a powerful “Leviathan” with impressive hard work of collaboration vocal and all the equipment including keyboards. Then the ears would please to hear a sensitive ballad “The final Odyssey”. And for everyone with guts recommend a 10 minutes self-titled heroic track. So, awesome thing is awesome. The album is epic win.
