Kenos is a band from Italy. Kenos started in 1996 under another name. The first release came in 2002 and in 2010 the band was up for their third full length album “X-Torsion”. Now they come with a new EP called “Nighttrain To Samara”.
Since the last release the band have found themselves a new vocalist and it must be said that this may be exactly what the guys needed. Before the band had many diverse genres mixed and that appeared a bit chaotic as if they could find exactly what they were looking for and now with “Nighttrain To Samara” they clearly found more direction. They guys are giving you a strong package with riffs, and accompanied with the new vocals that they brought they manage to surprise with this release. The compositions that are given at this release are quite strong and show the band has a brighter vision of what they want. Although the band brings only four tracks of which the first one is quite short, they have found a way to attract some more interest in them . I am curious to see what will come out of them if they come with a new full length release as this EP surely shows they took some major steps ahead.
