Bulletsize is a Swedish Death/Thrash Metal band which operated under a different name before. Being Bulletsize now, their second full length under this name comes out. It’s called “The Apokalypse”.
Earlier the band released an EP under the same name and these songs can be found on the album as well. For those who had that one already there is something to recognize here but in combination with the other songs you may notice that the band brought them a bit further together. The Death comes forward a little more, vocals got a little extra spice as it seems and that certainly works for them. Instrumentally they are balanced as well. The drums having a fair presence here, not to be pushed back by the guitars with their sometimes catchy riffs hidden right between vehemence and aggression. In the tracklist you find songs that are connected quite well, not really one that jumps out more but an interesting featured song (with Solskugga) draws your attention to “Alone In The Dark”. All together it is a solid release showing a band that clearly steps forward with this release. It indicates the band might be very interesting to see live and that is always a plus.
