Fall Against Fate – If Not For Ourselves

Releasedate: 05-09-2011; Label: Constellation Records
By: Sabine van Gameren

Fall Against Fate is Metal core formation from UK. The band came last year with an EP and anno 2011 another EP of their hands sees light. “If Not For Ourselves” is out now.

These British boys are making Metal core with a dose of aggression in it that you can feel coming at you from the beginning. It seems to start moderate but before you know it the violence starts. The guys take it all on the technical road, listening careful to the guitars may serve you with brilliant moments in the music. Instrumentally the band works quite well. On the vocals there might be some lack of variation here and there. After a couple of tracks you have heard the majority of it and since the songs are all not too different from both each other and what other bands in this genre compose you are just waiting for that song in which he goes on a quite different tour, but it doesn’t come. Quite a pity because the band certainly shows some skills. So whenever they are thinking of a full length this may be an issue to consider, but furthermore it is just a nice release.
